K-12 schools within the state of Michigan are invited to submit a grant application for the LAFCU Innovation for Education Grant. Schools must record a short video (3-5 minutes) sharing what their school building would do with the funds and how the funds would positively impact their students.
Applications can be submitted by teachers, administrators, PTO/PTA's, or councils and clubs. If students are featured, please acquire parent permission as the winning video could be shared publicly.

Winner
The winning school will be selected on May 15, 2025.
Awarding of the Funds
Funds will be distributed directly to the school district and a check presentation will be held with school and LAFCU representatives.
Details
By entering, participants grant LAFCU permission to contact them via phone, email or social media about their entry. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of LAFCU, which shall be final and binding; and to the use of their names and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Participation and eligibility is open to legal residents of Michigan, must be a teacher or administrator during the for the 2023-2024 school year, and must be eighteen (18) years or older. Officers, directors, and employees of LAFCU; and their immediate families are not eligible.
